This is the piece that I have donated. It is a 17" x 17" stoneware clay platter, fired to mid range with underglazes, stains and glazes. It is ready to hang in that special place in your home or to live atop a beloved table. However you choose to display it remember that the money you spend is going to a good place.
i just went to check on this for bidding purposes and it was already up to almost $250! great great great! (well, not so great for me as far as the bucks in my wallet tell me, but great for the kim auction). beautiful work as always! jen of the north
I took my first pottery class in the eighth grade, not because I was interested in pottery but because a boy I had a crush on was taking the class. I remember making a clay hippopotamus in that class but I don’t remember what happened with the boy.

Gorgeous work, Diana. Some of the most beautiful ceramic work I've seen. Good luck with the auction!
