cement trucks & toilets please

Oh my, I am whipped...and it's not over. I made my goal, everything painted and drawn by the weeks end. I bisqued a very large load of work last night and I am waiting for the kiln to cool. Tomorrow I will spend the day glazing (my least favorite part). I have been working from the early in the morning until late at night for the past week. I must admit I am so sick of drawing flowers right now. I kind of feel like drawing something like a toilet or a cement truck anything other than a flower. O.K. it's not nice for me to do be self depricating about my work but please have mercy on me, I have been a flower drawing maniac and I am tired. Besides I like cement trucks and toilets are ceramic.

Now, is that drawing a toilet on something, or drawing something ON a toilet?
(just felt like saying I enjoy reading your blog, I've always found ceramics somewhat mesmerizing)

Hi, I love your work, I'm a fellow potter and totally understand the tired of feeling! My work is carved and glazed a bunch of different colors - not far off from your process only I haven't figured casting into it yet! keep up the beautiful work!!! best! Linda

he he...that totally made me laugh! i love your work so much! i first saw it a few years ago in SF and since have seen it more! i think wendy or lisa c. turned me on to the fact that you have a blog so i've loved checking in recently. i graduated with a bfa in ceramics and screenprinting so i love seeing your beautiful techniques; and one day, i figure i might be able to get my hands on a piece!

You are funny when you're tired. The bee is good, and not a flower. I'm calling "The Gardener" on Wednesday. I have always loved being at a sale when it starts, be the first one there, and I get to choose from all that is there. Yeah, it is a lot of work when you make beautiful things, but here is a quote: "Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing. - Theodore Roosevelt

i'm sure that your toilets and cement trucks would be very interesting and inventive! you never know, there might be an interest in a ceramics line such as that!
